Cheyenne fully beaded buffalo hide moccasins with buffalo hoof design. Sinew sewn and beaded using colors of cobalt, red white heart, white, pea green and greasy yellow.
Fully beaded moccasins were made as special gifts for elders, respected individuals, or during rites of passages for events such as births, marriages, or graduations. Because of the skill and time required, they are collected as art pieces or displayed in museums to preserve cultural history.
