This older pole features three figures, from the top: Human Figure with woven hat, anthropomorphic Frog, and Wolf. The pole likely dates to the 1920s and is carved in cedar. The pole is painted in a somewhat muted green, gray, and black palette with pleasing wear and patina commensurate with its age.

Like many poles form this era, the base was removed either by the original seller or an early owner who added a tab on the back to hang the pole on the wall. The features of the pole are derived from both Nuu-chah-nulth and Tsimshian styles, which was also common for poles from this time period, but it does make pinpointing a single origin more difficult. 23"H x 3"W
