Giant 464 3/8" gross 24 point Wild Colorado elk shoulder mount taxidermy. This elk was found dead in the San Juan National Forest in Colorado over 20 years ago. The bull was very old and the antlers were cut off the skull for a mount by the finder. He was more than likely a mountain lion kill. A taxidermist purchased the antlers about five years ago and when he found a cape for sale large enough he purchased it and mounted up the elk. The mount is five years old and in excellent condition. 70"H x 55"W protrudes 55"
