Sioux split horn bonnet with buffalo hide liner. Brain tanned buffalo skull cap. Long dangling ermine tails, tips beaded with greasy yellows and red hearts tipped with horsehair. Small brain tanned thong with hawk bells connecting both horns. Beaded brow band, matching horn tips, silk ribbon drops now shredded from use. Feathers across top. From a Missouri collection.
