Two framed Stephen Willard black and white photographs. Both signed and numbered. Both of alpine Mammoth Lakes in California. Well framed in good condition.
Stephen Willard (1894-1966) was a well known painter and photographer, capturing many western and desert scenes. He had two studios, one in Palm Springs and one later in Mammoth lakes. Along with his photography, Willard began selling postcards to sell to the growing number of tourists visiting Palm Springs. He and his wife Beatrice continued to sell his work in both of their studios until their passing.
