Vintage hide scale of a unique form with brass circular dial going up to 100 pounds. Buffalo hide scales were used in the trading posts to weigh different sized hides. The scale features a unique spring "C" balance or known as a European Mancur. Marked "Arobas." Hanging loop with bottom hook.
