Colt Single Action Army revolver. 38 Special caliber, 5 1/4" barrel, 6 shot fluted cylinder and plastic grips with rampant stallion and eagle designs. The revolver's trigger guard and buttstrap feature the same serial number 300629 (manufactured 1907), while the frame is numbered 39622 (manufactured 1877). The barrel and cylinder appear to be a later replacement. The barrel is marked Colt's MFG. Co. Hartford, CT U.S.A on the right side and Colt Single Action Army 38 Special on the left. The frame is marked with the three line patent date marking of 1871, 1872, and 1875. The trigger guard is marked on the left hand shoulder with a VP in the front and a T on the back.
