Colt single action army revolver. Circa 1892. Brilliant reapplied nickel finish throughout with a 5 - 1/2" round barrel marked with "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. Co. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." and ".45 COLT", blade front sight, 6-shot fluted cylinder, black powder frame, and period 2-piece pearl grips. Good condition. The vast majority of the reapplied nickel is retained with a turn line and a few spots of wear, including on the ejector rod housing. Grips are fine with a few minor nicks. Frosted bore displays strong, well-defined rifling. Fine mechanics with tight lock up. Externally visible numbers match on frame and grip straps. Serial #145095
