Richards Conversion Colt 1860 Army Revolver. .44 Colt centerfire caliber. 6-shot rebated cylinder. The 8" round barrel has been cut down to 3 3/4". The revolver is missing it's side ejector rod and the barrel lug has not been plugged. The barrel has been modified having a bladed front sight added in with a dovetail. The navel engagement scene on the cylinder has worn away. The piece retains its original walnut grips. Serial numbers on the barrel, frame, trigger guard and butt all match. Serial# 5803.
