Texas Ranger Jay Banks handcuffs and pouch. Pair of Smith and Wesson handcuffs with key and leather Bucheimer handcuff pouch used by Texas Ranger Jay Banks. The snap is missing on the pouch. Ex. Jay Banks Applewhite-Clark Collection. Comes with the Jay Banks Collection booklet. After serving as a Constable in Jack County since 1936, Jay fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a Texas Ranger in 1947 where he transferred to Dallas and spent the rest of his career eventually progressing to Field Ranger, then Sergeant and finally to Captain of Company B.
