Engraved Antique Remington Model 95 Spurtrigger Double Derringer, Type 1 No. 2, #2305, .41 Short RF cal., 3" round superposed barrels are marked with maker's name and address and "Elliot's Patent Dec. 12, 1865" on top rib, barrel unit tips up for cartridge loading, has left-side sliding extractor; frame with auto-selective firing pin, top barrel hinge and right-side release lever, integral spurtrigger sheath and "bird's head" gripstraps, 2-pc. mother-of-pearl grips. Mfg'd ca. 1868. Condition is very good retaining most of a full nickel re-plating. Grips are sound and smooth with brilliant iridescence, no cracks or losses. Action is crisp, bore shows good rifling.
