Hopi olla/jar. Lena Charlie's corn hallmark, Corn Woman is admired for sight quality and fine line painting. Her clay fires to a warm cream orange; her designs are well balanced off, and in four quadrants. She uses diagonal hatching and stippling for added tone ability. She is respected as a master potter Twa, Twa Village; active 1930-60. Collections in northern Arizona, in Herd Museum.
