James Reid My Friend engraved knuckle duster. These revolvers were manufactured as a dual prong defense piece, with both a 7-shot cylinder and a knuckle duster for when the cylinder was empty. Brass frame with traces of silver plate, standard engraving pattern, marked with correct patent information on left side of top strap. Matching "13" numbers observed on cylinder pin, rear of cylinder, and safety device. Serial #6913. .22 RF cal. Barrel length 1 1/2". Brass is a mellow golden color with silver plate in protected areas. Blue finish is toned to gunmetal gray. Mechanically fine. Bores are very good. Ex. Allan Klein Collection.
