Brunswick-Balke Collender billiard balls. Large ivory billiard balls in original wooden box stamped in black. Top of the box reads "Do not use these balls before reading the special notice on inside of cover. The ivory balls contained in this package were carefully inspected before shipment and found to be in perfect condition. The purchaser is hereby notified that we do not under any circumstances assume any responsibilty for cracking of ivory balls after they were delivered to transportation company and the shipment is made on the condition that the purchaser assumes all risks of whatsoever kind either in exposure to adverse climate conditions in transit or breakage through handling after receipt. If the balls have been shipped in cold weather great care must be exercised in opening the package so as not to expose the ivory to sudden changes of weather. Be careful to not to place the package near a stove or heat radiator. Should small season checks appear in the balls set them aside at someplace were it is not too dry and the cracks will close within a day or so after which but little trouble with them will be experienced.
