Woven Cornhusk Bags and Basketry

 Tribes of the Columbia Plateau used woven bags made corn husks to gather and carry collected roots and berries. Outstanding examples come from the Nez Perce, Umatilla, Yakima, Klikitat, Tenino, Wallawalla and Palouse tribes.
