(1912-1978). Oil on canvas; 30" x 48". Original frame. Son of a cowboy, Powell was raised in Apegar, MT, on the south side of Lake McDonald. His father was a stable boss, guide and tracker for Glacier National Park. As a boy, he watched Charles Russell paint in the Bull's Head Lodge in Apegar. Well framed.
