Original oil on canvas. Only one other known painting by this artist is housed in the Shelburne Museum; was donated to the museum by Henry O. Havemeyer. Frederick is believed to be related to Henry O. Havemeyer and Electra Havemeyer Webb——co-founder ot the Shelburne Museum. Frederick Havemeyer contributed the chapter on “Currituck Sound” in duck shooting along the Atlantic tide water by Connecticut.
