Northwest wall totem. "This family valued the raising of children above all else. The bear mother represents defending her children ferociously against enemies." From the patina, assume Northwest tribal lodge piece rather than tourist. Collected in 1967, Anchorage Alaska. It is the opinion of our researcher that this totem was not Native American carved. 11" x 36"
