Antique Native American Dolls

Antique Native American dolls were traditionally made from materials such as leather, cloth, corn husk, and hair, and were adorned with intricate beadwork in various styles and designs. Some styles of beaded dolls, such as those from the Plains tribes, were designed as toys for children, while others, like the carved cottonwood Kachina dolls of the Zuni, Apache, and Hopi, had spiritual and healing significance. Cisco’s collection of Antique Native American dolls features pieces from a variety of culture areas and tribes including the Shoshone, Sioux, Crow, Ute, Seminole, and Inuit.
